This week is not very productive, it is pretty cold. We manag to finish all window and door trims, inside and outside. We also went to buy floor trim (Fußleisten).

The outer side of house is in the final stage. Alex has completed all part of the roof. My task in this week is still painting. 🙂 Alex has cut some woods into L Shape, they are for the window frames, they look super nice and it gives the house a nice touch, I really like this finishing. It is a lot of works though =p

Between, this is my cozy corner in the WG close to our workshop. Thanks to the people in the WG, let us stay while we are building the house.

This week we have done a lot of different small tasks. There is a lot of painting jobs for me. I painted the whole house again and also have put silicon all around window from inside.

We also tried to weigh the house today to find out if we can tow the house. Thanks Samuel and Philip, friends from Alex have spent their time in the rain helping us to weigh the house. Unfortunately, we didn’t know how to use the device correctly, it showed 9000kg. Then we gave up in trying and tried to find other way to bring the house. We were hoping the house is below 3.5 tons and Alex is willing to bring the house to us. I just worried about the transport, it is 550km away from Regensburg, it is better to use special transport than towing it all the way to the north.

Finally, we have laid the aluminum roof. I don’t have the process in making because I was sitting in the middle of the roof helping Alex to hold his tools. This is just the first stage of building the roof, we did not manage to do all.

Besides the roof, Alex also finished the floor this weekend. At the meantime, I was putting all cables through the wall, so we can close the wall and I can start painting the wall.

On this day, I took the 4:30am bus to Regensburg in order to paint the ceiling one more time before we start making the floor. We have chosen 1 cm thick wood parquet for the floor.
